i almost forgot, 'dphillips'. i live in the southern hemisphere and that tree in the middle is dead so you wouldn't expect foliage.

firstly, everybody said i should have lowered the angle. i would have liked to but if you look closely you can see a house roof top down the bottom. i didn't have time to take the photo differently.
secondly, the reason i didn't actually have the sun in the picture is because it would mess the exposure and because the colours only went good when the sun was below the horizon.
My last comment is about the picture actually being the sun setting not rising, which most people picked up on. I didn't think it would matter because sunrise can look like that and i was just representing what i like about new days.
