Beautiful photo! Good use of the rule of thirds. I love the lighting and the clouds make a very interesting background.

| not really sure if I view this as a new day. looks stormy and crappy. (not the photo, the sky. lol) also, not sure what that object is. I like the photo. I actually like it a lot, but wish we could have gotten some really cool colors in the sky, or some bright clouds and mabye a horizon would help portray NEW since that's usually where we meet our new day first thing in the morning. Good luck with the challenge. |

| At first this photo did not catch my eye, but as the week goes on I am finding this photo more and more attracting. I think I have upgraded it twice already....Sometimes these are my favorite shots because they dont let you forget them. |

| This is an interesting photo compositionally. It just doesn't say 'new' to me. The title suggests a 'new' day and I just don't see it. Maybe this object in the photo has some sort of 'new day' symbolism that I'm not familiar with... - jmsetzler |

There is something very striking about this photo, but I can't put my finger on it. Is that the sun reflecting off the bottom of the (whatever it is)? If so, (and this is just intended as constructive critique) if it was possible to catch the rising sun in the distant horizon, the impact would have been grand!
