These are not insults - just comments. There have been much much worse. You need to take a step back and not read them with so much emotion. My first attempt here didn't go over all that well, but I'm still submitting and getting much much better (check out my Shadows entry) I've leaned a lot from those comments.
Keep submitting - it's the best way to learn! |

These are your "insults"???? I've seen worse. You need to know that while criticism may be hard to take, you should learn from it instead of be hurt by it. |

Awwwww what a sweet face! I'd like to see this a little brighter to see a little more detail on her or his beautiful face. I must say this seems to be a dog with a little age...expression in the eyes...but if it is new to you then it is new...:-) |

He doesn't seem so new anymore. However, he could be new to YOU, so who am I to judge?? Looks like he took over the bed. We know who's boss here. :) I think he's adorable. He's got a bit of alien eye syndrome. I'm not sure yet how it works, but is this kind of the same thing as red eye? Some cameras have a setting to reduce red eye. Would it work with the "blue eye" thing happening here? When voting is all said and done, could someone let me in on how the red eye, blue eye thing works, and how it can be fixed, if at all? I think this is a great photo. Congrats and good luck with the challenge. |

I have lots of dogs, and I know from experience that it's really hard not to get that glare in their eyes. A little more natural light and a better angle would have dimished that I think. If you use any type of flash you'll usually get the glare. Seems a little fuzzy too. |

Certainly does not look like a NEW puppy...More like a little kid :) but definitely complies with the challenge. |

Nice puppy. Shot seems a bit dark. My cubie says the puppy is an adult. 6 Swash |

Need to lose the redeye (well, blue eye here). And perhaps crop a little closer in on this little guy's face. Cute! |

What's with the dog's eyes? |

IMHO this needs a different composition. either a total head shot or the whole animal. Perhaps a different background. |

With all due respect to the photographer, this dog doesn't look like a puppy.... |

This has more of a family snap shot look to it. I am curious about his blue eyes...they SEEM to be touched up. Maybe not. Also...this doesn't look like a new puppy. |

cute dachshund, but it's not a puppy anymore. their noses are all pushed in-like when they are puppies. |
