Emptyby JPRComment: I have to resist the urge to run my fingers across the screen because you've really captured the wood textures beautifully. The cage really stands out (dodging?) and seems at odds with the apparent light available. However, I genuinely like this super-real treatment. Great work, as always. Ben |

Fog on the Riverby bobdaveantComment: Hi Bob...returning the favour....
Like the muted colours and soft lighting. Can I make a suggestion (it was a real problem on my shot, too)? The ship and the sea should be the focus of this shot but your signature, the dockside, and the crane in particular, pull the eye away. The way I see this shot is a tighter crop that keeps the 'landscape' ratio but removes any trace of dock. This way you could fool the viewer that the ship is slowly venturing through the fog...and fooling the viewer is what it's all about! (my pic was shot on a bright clear day, for example). Feel free to ignore my opinion.....but keep up the good work! Ben |

Desaturate & Levelsby mpembertonComment: Elegantly simple and beautifully composed. Feels like this should be a Japanese print on a bamboo screen! My only query is over the boat's reflection...it looks a bit odd.... |

Dogs and Laceby LeeDComment: I would demand the addition of 'canine erotica' as a classification in the challenge submission procedure.
By the way, doing anything this Saturday? Fancy a romantic walk in the park? (No tongues) |

Dawn-break & Landscapeby ArtanComment: Magnificent simplicity of the curves, colour and composition....the sun directly over the peak works so well. |
