 The skyline you see in the background is downtown Honolulu & Waikiki Hawaii. The palm trees didn't stand out as much as I wished. But I did capture the compositon I had in mind for this challenge.

I thought this would definately be in the top 10 at least. This is a great shot and very well executed. What a great spot to take a picture.

Nicely done. I like how the palms in the foreground do not conceal the subject but rather make the shot a bit more interesting. Tough to balance that into a shot but you did it well. Good luck!

The downtown lights look overexposed. The silhouettes of the trees would have been much stronger against a sky with more clouds; in lieu of that painting them with light might have produced interesting results as well.

super exposure. i wish you could have gotten more clould visible to help better counter balance the bottom lights with some more upper light

Neat! Must not have had much wind, becuase the palm trees are sharp (no motion). I like the contrast & blue night sky. Well done.

A little too much sky, doesn't bring anything to the subject to help the photo. Skyline is gorgeous color but seems cropped too short.

I like the three off centered trees in the foreground. Nice composition as far as city low and lots of sky. Very nice indeed. 8

interesting composition. if you wanted the downtown lights to be the focus, why do the trees have to be there at all?

Focus on lights seems soft. The large trees also take away from the city scene. I would have liked the city higher into the picture.
