Extraordinary tones and textures. I usually find that patterned images are more striking with a central point of focus to interrupt the pattern, but this one is so nicely done that it stands alone very well.

This is an outstanding portrait in every way and an excellent subject for this challenge. I know you couldn't spot edit the glare on his head and ear for this challenge, but that's a minor issue in an otherwise excellent photo. Very nicely done.

Outstanding, simple shot with excellent clarity and a wide tonal range. The lines are a little jagged from resizing, but that's a minor critique of a really great photo.
