| I think that an extra stop of DOF would be helpful to keep the chin sharp but continue to have the nice OOF lights in the background. A tad noicy, but nothing to significant to detract from the quality of the image that much. Overall 8 |

| Great work - the colour is great, the expression is good and the composition/framing is very well done. The sharpening is taken too it's limit but I wouldn't say it's oversharpened. Having the person generally lighter than the background works extremely well - but something tells me you know enough about photography to realise that yourself. Great work - at the top end of the results for me. |

| This is an outstanding portrait in every way and an excellent subject for this challenge. I know you couldn't spot edit the glare on his head and ear for this challenge, but that's a minor issue in an otherwise excellent photo. Very nicely done. |

| Good idea, but I guess the reflection from the glasses should have taken 75% of the image. I want to see the city, not the scarf. |

| Cool shot. I like the colors. Only problems are that there is some aliasing (jaggies) for instance on his glasses frame above his nose, and his chin is out of focus, maybe focusing a little closer would help. |

| Very good use of shallow dof in the background lights. Thought the capture of the reflection in the sunglasses really defined that this was a city shot. Just a really good photo on all levels. Very GQ. |

| Cool shot! I just got done giving another photo a hard time about simply being a portrait & not showing city life. Great idea with the reflection, even if you had to dig out the '70s shades. Nice colour, & pretty bokeh. Well done. |
