Peekby magnusComment: I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but this pose is exactly the same as a photo by Sascha Huttenhain (mirror image). You can see it at //www.digitale-momente.de/bodyparts.htm it's the one in the lower right corner. You have to click on it to see the full photo. |

Neglectedby Go-KLComment: Good photo. Sharp and good lighting. It would have been great if it had just a bit deeper DOF and captured the metal clasp at the bottom with the 4 leaf clover.. |

Rusted in its Tracksby MWittComment: Sharp and clear photo. The "Rusty" subject seems a bit minimal in the rusty tracks. I had to take a closer look to see that it was the tracks that were rusty. Perhaps a tight photo of just the tracks with one or two semi circles from the wheels would have been more effective. The green on red would have been nice. Or maybe the tracks, the wheel and the front spiked drive wheel. |

Ready to cross the Atlanticby greslizzzComment: I like this shot. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to have tightened the shot on the rope/chains/bell. The rolled up sail in the upper left corner is distracting. It's kind of a grey day and the background is uninteresting. If you pulled in the shot you could have eliminated the sail, sky and minimized the background. Maybe positioned the bell in the upper left. But then agian I have no idea what you may have been avoiding below the photo. |

Old Spring House with Rusty Roofby digitaldaveComment: Good shot. I like the colors. I like the use of the tree in the shot but I think that it occupies a bit too much of the frame. Maybe if it was about 1/3 less of the tree. |

~by nfesselComment: Wow, was there really that much magenta in the rust or did you adjust the colors? |

lay down your tracksby PixelproseComment: Nice shot. A bit off center. A nice blue sky would have been nice buy what can you do about that. I think I would have cropped it at the sky line. The lines from the tracks carry your eye to the horizon but there really isn't any thing there on interest and its blurry from the shallow DOF. You can kind of see what it would have looked like my scrolling the top part of the photo off the screen.
If you didn't want to center it maybe a more exaggerated offset to the upper right corner would have been good too. I'm not sure centering it would have been quite right because the tracks aren't really symmetrical. |

Plain Rust...by tpoultonComment: I like the perspective, the rust color against the steel, lighting is good too.
It looks like the "tip" is out of focus. A bit more DOF would have captured it. It's a bit grainy, maybe a bit lower ISO. The texture from the rust blends in with the white background. A nice smooth background would have given you a good contrast and really made the rust, "Pop" out.

Fallen Delightby RoosterComment: I like the sepia but the light on the flower is so bright that I just can't make it out. I think a more gentle light would have helped. |
