Day 17 - New Friendsby KenComment: Love what you did with this picture. I am glad you decided on black and white as the focus becomes on the girls versus all the vibrant colors. I really like the way the sunlight is streaming down on the girls, you positioned yourself well. This picture really captures Cartesia's forwardness and sharing capabilities. Wonderful job! |

Week 16 - Tulipby KenComment: Ken,
You really did a nice job on this tulip. It is so simple and yet elegant. I love how the black and white tones really make the textures pop. It is beautiful! |

Day 21 - Daffodilby KenComment: Just a daffodil? This is lovely! I really like the bright yellow center and the rich detail. The green at the base of the petals really draws my eye outward. I would have to say this is not "just" a daffodil! |

Pastel Cups - Day 1aby sherpetComment: I love the pastel colors and the paper. The texture in the paper really adds to the picture. Such an ordinary object made to look so extraordinary. |

A Blossom Fellby JutildaComment: Judy, the lyrics are quite befitting for this image. It has a delicateness that is true of love and yet there is a harshness about it that can occur when love begins to fade. I love the pastel colors and composition. |

Prickly Pear Cactusby cogeroxComment: This prickly pear cactus sure stands out against the darkness that surrounds it. It almost seems like some sort of strange fish swimming in the ocean. |

2by RetroesqueComment: This sure evokes a feeling of sadness, for me anyway. I like the white in the foreground and the greenish/blue hue in the background. I like that one twig is so prominent and yet the others are still visible and almost seem to be reaching towards the main twig. |

Grey Headed FlyingFoxby GregoryBComment: Looking at the thumbnail I thought this was a bat of some sort. What a cool little creature this is. I like how he stands out against the blue background and how the line cuts diagonally through the picture. |

Via Mazziniby JimiRoseComment: I like the lighting on the buildings along the right side of the picture. The lady on the bike in the foreground adds interest to the picture. |
