Taken at a reeanactor event - "Voyageur Rendezvous", set during the 18th century Eastern fut-trade era.

Cartesia is in this picture, but it's candid of her and the other two children. I find shooting candids of children harder than adults, so this was out of my comfort zone.

Love what you did with this picture. I am glad you decided on black and white as the focus becomes on the girls versus all the vibrant colors. I really like the way the sunlight is streaming down on the girls, you positioned yourself well. This picture really captures Cartesia's forwardness and sharing capabilities. Wonderful job!

It's the most lovely scene - their soft children's hair floating in the wind, reflecting the sunlight. Beautiful image, Ken. Great in BW.

Excellent shot made better by your BW treatment of it. Perfect. I can almost feel the wind clear over here, in my hair!

Great candid shot. Its got a great spring/summer emotion that kids get before school gets out.

What makes this for me is the lovely softness of the light. Suits their innocence perfectly.
