Pink sonata by crayonComment: A well-deserved ribbon for sure! I gave an 8 to this stunning photo. So, a blue ribbon and the highest rated entry ever for your camera. Congratulations! 2006 can only go downhill from here (kidding!). :o) |

City Life during the holidays means LIGHTS!!by PixlmakerComment: Okay, from the comments I got it is very obvious the blue light knocked my points down a bit. That's okay--live and learn. I'm learning Photoshop, and I'm getting better at it every day. So, I'll know how to minimize the glare of the spotlights in the future (not that it helps for this entry). Thanks for the comments, and I'll post a shot of the Falls (with the blue lights shining on them) soon.

King of the Aquariumby PixlmakerComment: Thanks for the comments all--especially CalliopeKel (although my name is Don, not Brad :o)). This was indeed a more dimly-lit freshwater tank. Here is a shot of his saltwater tank (this guy owns 3 tanks), with the nightlights on. With the regular lights on, it is much brighter than the tank above, to keep the coral alive. Calliope--sounds like this is quite a hobby for you too! Here is the other tank:
Feel free to comment on that shot as well. I will post more aquarium pix very soon. Thanks! Message edited by author 2006-01-11 08:01:33. |

Kiss Meby ralphComment: I'm not sure what this is, but I like the picture. I would have cloned out the spots in the white part around the image, as they are distracting. Other than that, well done. 7. |

Bubblesby Meridian SageComment: Nice shot. However, this is QUITE a stretch for the "Mother" challenge. I'll give it a 6, but it would have been an 8 in a "Bubbles challenge. |

Ligths in the cityby armandusComment: You've probably gotten comments like this, but I'll say it again--it looks like a good shot, but it's WAY too small. Always re-size to 640 pixels on the longest axis (in this case the vertical axis). |
