Yellow-headed Blackbirdby justineComment: Iove the lines of the grass and the hiddeness of hte bird. If you could darken the background on the top a bit it would help the make the birds yellow head stand out a bit more. But that is probably difficult to do without over exposing the grass. Owlsby beamsclanComment: Yes Gaia, these are wild owls. They live in borrows in the ground and they sit out on embankments. They do not fly away when you stop near them in a car. If you are on foot you cannot get this close to them. I took this picture from a the car window with a 200mm lens. Very little enlarging. |
