new lumberby ronComment: I really don't like to see the challenge name (new) used as part of the title... too cliche, or something... unimaginative! Get out your thesaurus! Detail on the lumber is good, focus and clarity is good, but new lumber is just kind of... bland, maybe? Needs something to break it up, to add interest. |

growing in the windby FranziskaLangComment: Flowers were overdone (again) in this week's challenge (I think anyway!) This is a nice picture of a flower and I like the color. Without knowing about the wind (from your title) I would have thought it was a really poor picture of a really beautiful flower. The blurring on the right side distracts me. |

A new lifeby dexter2Comment: Wow, this is real different. Very unique. The darkness at the edges really kind of bothers me though. The central point of the photo has such good focus, I might have tried cropping more of the dark out. |

Coming Up Rosesby daysezComment: Too many "flower" shots in this challenge, but there are some good ones. I like the detail and focus on the rosebud, and the colors are great, but the blurry background is distracting... to me anyway. I would have dropped it closer I guess. |
