I don't like to see the name of the challenge (new) used in the title... too cliche or something. There are lots of other, more creative ways to express it. The syringe gives me a creepy feeling, but I understand it's meaning. I might have cropped more to eliminate more of the dark edges. But a great addiction... dpchallenge. Creative!

I've never seen this flavor of pepsi before, so it must be NEW! Looks like it could be an advertizement! Maybe a little too much "shine" on the bottle, but overall good, and I like the water droplets... you can almost feel the icy cold.

Modern Day Communications

I thought "new" architecture, or new buildings was over done in this challenge, but yours is probably the best one. Where I live, you can't drive a mile without seeing lots of these modern "glass buildings" so I guess a picture like this doesn't hold much appeal for me, although the satellite dishes at the base makes this one more interesting... changes the focal point from the building to something less obvious. Not bad, all in all...

Good picture. Of more interest than my initial reaction. Excellent clarity, balance and color. I like the use of light and shadow, showing great texture. This would be a great advertisement shot.

This is a neat "kid" picture, although without the title, I'd have trouble making it fit the challenge. Maybe I'm just not imaginative enough. On my monitor it looks a bit out of focus, was this intentional, or is it just my perception?

Cherry Tomatoes

Love the droplets on the tomato in the foreground, but would like to see more clarity on the two tomatoes right behind, although I realize that can be hard to achieve. I find the fuzziness of the background kind of distracting so I might have cropped this a bit more... again, I don't know how much you had to work with, and have often had to settle for something less than I thought perfect because I simply didn't have enough to work with in the original.

Kind of a cool picture, but the title's TOO long. There must be some way to get the same point across without the wordiness. The shadow on the painter's face bothers me, but I like the composition and balance of the photo. Creative photo.

This is kind of interesting, I'm surprised more people didn't do something with eggs. I really don't like to see the challenge name (new) used in the title though... too cliche. The I find fuzziness in the upper right of the photo to be distracting, but maybe it was done on purpose. Overall, though, pretty good, and I like the idea.
