I think he is the cutest child I have ever seen. He looks so genuine and happy. It brings a smile to my face just seeing him! Beautiful child and a wonderful picture~ |

I don't think the soft focus works on this... |

Hey! I have one of these! Every day is something new. If this little guy is anything like mine, then he is never the same boy 2 days in a row. I like the angle of this, and the lighting is good. There seems to be a soft focus, but it works with this photo. Kind of dreamy. Great shot and good luck in the challenge. |

Sweet is the best word I can come up with for this shot. And I mean that in the best way. I really like this. |

This is a neat "kid" picture, although without the title, I'd have trouble making it fit the challenge. Maybe I'm just not imaginative enough. On my monitor it looks a bit out of focus, was this intentional, or is it just my perception? |

This is a wonderful portrait. I love the lighting and the concentration on the child's face. This is either out of focus or it's deliberate use of soft focusâ€Â¦ What do I think? I think it's a great shot by design and the result intended – (9) |

Great portrait... The soft focus and composition are great... The brown above the shoulder was a little distracting, but not enough to make this less then a great shot. |

What a thought provoking picture, this child is a beautiful "indigo" child.......the energy reflected in him is amazing. !!! The photographer captured his true innocence and infinite beauty. I love it! |

I am not keen on soft focus and would prefer a sharper picture but like the content and composition. Find it a little too shadowy at the lower right. I like the way he's looking down, it's often said a people photo should have eye contact but I think this works well without it. Would like to lose the chair in the background and have it all blue as the wall. 5, Kavey |

I'm stretching to see the 'new' in this photo, but the title shows me the intention of the image... the image doesn't do it on it's own :) - jmsetzler |
