Technical: it has major technicals flaws IMO: lighting is way too harsh, with parts blowned up; colors are a bit strange, maybe for the strong light

Summary: good subject but needs better realization. Don't stop shooting

First Impression: WOW. That a wonderful shot, very strong. If I had voted on this challenge would be a 9 or 10 from me
Composition: very good. Like it
Subject: perfect for the challenge
Technical: the focus is tack sharp, and the use of shallow DOF is superb, even the ear is OOF. The B/W conversion looks nice
Improvement: difficult to find, but maybe the B/W conversion would have been a bit more punchy

Technical: very good focus on her, the speed is good for freezing the water, colors are nice
Improvement: maybe you could play with selective colors to achieve a bluer blue on the sky.

Technical: good lignhting (with few parts blowned out), nice black BG, focus clear.
Improvement: improvements on lighting to avoid blown out

First Impression: Are you still living in the same place? or the neighbours send you to a madhouse? LOL You're really brave to make the shot on your apartment's community. I don't like people who knows me looking at me with my camera.
Composition: Not bad, but maybe the egg is too on the edge and too small to be the main subject.
Subject: very clever idea.
Technical: colors are OK, but maybe you need them a bit more orange to transmit heat. Focus and DOF are nice.
Improvement: I'm not sure, but maybe a closer composition and more reddish colors would help. Some smoke from the floor also...
Summary: Nice idea.

First Impression: Oh, sorry for your scores this week.
Composition: OK, following thirds
Subject: Surely this is the main problem with your score. I suppose people didn't catch, or didn't like the relation with challenge. I see is heat, but he seems so bored and desperate. Maybe in a challenge aqbout boring kids would have scored much better, LOL.
Technical: Focus is not perfect, it's a bit blurred. Color of his face seems nice, but the red of the jacket is too strong.
Improvement: Maybe just with another expression would have imprived score. And the focus nedds a little improve as well.
Summary: Don't get frustated for the score and keep trying.

First Impression: Nice idea with a strange name on the lens cap (I've never listened of it).
Composition: Correct.
Subject: Maybe a bit difficult to understand. That game is not very popular in my place. But the idea is very clever.
Technical: It's a bit dark overall, it doesn't stand out for the colors. The exposition is a bit underexposed for my taste. Focus is very good.
Improvement: Make a brighter image.

First Impression: Intelligent idea, very original for the challenge.
Composition: A bit strange, too centered and cropped too tight.
Subject: Good idea for the challenge.
Technical: Focus and use of the DOF is very good. Light on the lemon is too harsh, almost hurts the eyes.
Improvement: Take off the center the logo of Canon, not so strong light on the lemmon.
Summary: Good idea. Keep shooting.

First Impression: Funny and clever take on an original subject.
Composition: Very nice, with the descending line from left to right, well balance with the red on both sides.
Subject: Funny, original. We don't have Dr Pepper on Spain, but they look antique.
Technical: as you say, the lighting can be improved, the shadows of the wall are, at least, strange. Colors are very natural.
Improvement: As you said, lighting. Hoping to see your new versions of the shot.
Summary: Funny, good composition and some flaws on the light.
