Hello from Ãlex, CTP MkII
First Impression: Oh, sorry for your scores this week.
Composition: OK, following thirds
Subject: Surely this is the main problem with your score. I suppose people didn't catch, or didn't like the relation with challenge. I see is heat, but he seems so bored and desperate. Maybe in a challenge aqbout boring kids would have scored much better, LOL.
Technical: Focus is not perfect, it's a bit blurred. Color of his face seems nice, but the red of the jacket is too strong.
Improvement: Maybe just with another expression would have imprived score. And the focus nedds a little improve as well.
Summary: Don't get frustated for the score and keep trying.

Greetings from CTP2
Ok, I must say this is pretty strange. The coat and hat certainly isn't things you associate with heat and the reddish cheeks could also be something produced by the cold. However, even with the coat and hat I think this could have worked as a heat entry had the model looked really tired. For example, a full body shot with the hands on the knees and bending over which would have told me right there the person just completed a long hike or something and was exhausted. Or maybe not even a full body shot but just enough to show that type of pose and that way you'd keep the reddness in the cheeks prominent in the shot. So really the only issue for me here is she doesn't look tired. Perhaps just spraying some water on her face would have been enough? All in all I like how you tried to do something different.

Hi from CTP2!
The coat seems to indicate the oppisite of heat. Her cheeks look red from the cold |

Hi Gunnar -
I think this mainly suffered from the coat and ski cap, which are cold weather items. The heat is in her cheeks as you say, but that is secondary behind the coat and hat. The focus is a bit too soft, and nothing else in the photo suggests heat. I think it's a little too much like a snapshot for DPC. |

It doesn't really convey "heat" to me for starters. Unfortunately, she also looks very disinterested, and isn't in the best of focus. It just seems a little uninspired to me. |

He does look hot, but the attire gives more of a 'cold' feel to the picture. |
