Pretty in Purple!by menardmamComment: I love the lack of shadows. The starkness is beautiful. This shot portrays your expertise at this type of shot. I would only suggest a little more white space around the subject. |

Purple Translucenceby gajmajComment: I love this shot. The balance of depth of field, texture, colour and lighting are all awesome. The flower takes on an almost alien nature. The only thing I would add would be a bit more space around the subject. Well Done. |

A Symphony of Petalsby gerdagriceComment: This is a beautiful example of what I would call a "classic" flower shot. Wonderful depth of field a light. I think you have made this flower look better than it did in real life. |

Yellow and blue make greenby fstopopenComment: This shot is interesting. Well done for having a go at something a little different. I can see the effort in setting the lighting up. At first it feels a bit hard on the eye but the more I look at it the more I'm drawn to the centreline of the subjects face. The image seems to split my perception if I stare at it. Not the most comfortable experience but interesting and challenging. In the end the subject's eyes start to draw the focus. Thanks for the challenge to my perception. |

clematisby KerryComment: The colour is certainly vibrant. The dark area around the top really pushes the subject forward. |

'34 Fordby jmleliiComment: Great depth of field work. I love the light of this image. There's a sort of mysterious mood about it. The composition does seem to lack a focal point though. I feel that my eye is searching for a place to rest. |

Desicated Blushby OlyuziComment: I really like the green against the purple. Actually I like the red against the purple too. Not sure about the composition. It feels upside down, if that makes sense. I don't think just rotating it would reverse that. I think I would have tried some other compositions. |
