 Using one drop of food coloring each, I made some red and blue ice cubes. I stuck a few of each color in a wine glass, put it in bright light, waited for them to start melting, and started shooting.

With PS, cloned out some background noise and a few distracting spots in the glass, slightly adjusted levels and color intensity, and cropped.

Now if I could just get the food coloring off my hands...

I like the starkness of the subject against the background. Unfortunately I can't work out what the subject is and it doesn't really grab me as an abstract.

Good idea. I'm not sure I like the blown out top. Otherwise, pretty unique and cool.

Not sure what I'm looking at but I'm trying to find something to focus on. Nothing appears in sharp focus.
