This shot was indeed a lucky one. The car had pulled up next to us while we were driving on the highway, so naturally I had to grab my camera from the back see, all while driving mind you. The things photographers do for the one shot! Also happened to be purple. Hope you all enjoy!

Aloha from the Critque Club!

Congratualations on making a spur-of-the-moment shot look like a studio set print!

The color here is very nice, just purple enought to make you aware of the color, but not glaring. The shine on the vehicle is also very nice, and gives it a showroom look. Despite the hasty nature, the composition is nicely arranged and the lines are sharp. DOF is almost perfect for the subject.

I do have a few issues about the focus here, mainly the letters on the left edge of the image, which aren't in focus (which I know you couldn't affect in that situation) and distract alot from the sleek image of the car. Since I am also distracted by the dark patch along the right edge, meybe a solution would be to halo the left and right edges both with dark.

The burn marks along the bottom are a little too visible, try a softer burn, so the edges aren't so obvious. The cloud in the rear window and the two fingers on the steering wheel are also a little distracting, since they stand out in the dark windows.

Overall, this is an excellent capture that could be print-ready with a few minor edits.

I disagree - I think the out of focus forground contributes to the mood of the image and is an effective part of the whole, not a blemish.

Slick car with a nice moody atmosphere (7)

Nice car. One suggestion. I would like to have the blurred part on the bottom and right corner removed. they distract from what otherwise is a great shot.

A tighter crop eliminating the glare of the windshield and an enhancement of the color would make this picture moe appealing to me.

Great depth of field work. I love the light of this image. There's a sort of mysterious mood about it. The composition does seem to lack a focal point though. I feel that my eye is searching for a place to rest.

The color is subtle. Very nice photo and vehicle!

I like the lighting in this photo, but two things would have made it a better photo, in my opinion. The dark blotch on the lower-right and the blurriness at the bottom take away from this picture. Also, I would have liked to see more of the car.

I can hardly see any color in the car. It looks like it was desaturated.

Nice car! I am a little distracted by the blur on the bottom and the black on the right.

This is great - Although the car is probably standing still, it looks like the photo was shot from the window of a passing car - gives it a fleeting feeling as if the old car is driving back into the past. Because it is facing left and we have a right to left mindset, the illusion that it is going back in time is enhanced,,

This looks grey to me. The blurry triangle shape in the lower right corner is very distracting.

Blurry element in foreground and distracting shape in bottom right detracts from this picture. Would've appreciated an unobscured view of the classic. Shot this from a car window?

I think this would have looked better without the blurred object in the foreground, I honestly don't know what purpose it serves in the frame. Good luck...
