Leaf it aloneby freetimeComment: Your probably getting lots of comments about 'not in focus', right? That's my primary observation on how you could improve this image. You've found a great subject for texture, but you need a sharp focus to show that texture. I might also play with the position of the main stem; either move it a bit to the left, or try a few shots with it forming more of a diagonal into the photo. |

Featheredby FranziskaLangComment: Wonderful composition and texture. Especially enjoy how the light reflects differently between the upper and lower areas. Excellent focus and the choice of black and white really works well for me also. Great! LanSnake 10 |

Tidepool Reflectionsby RoninComment: Beautiful composiiton. I really like how green is the primary color -- this shot works better for me just like you have it, instead of having the sky show more blue. Very nice -- one of my favorites this week -- 9. (LanSnake) |

Weiner Dogby mpmcgeehanComment: Great composition. I love how you've positioned the dog's nose in the lower right corner -- with the head running diagonal across the image. Also like this as a black and white very much. One of my favorites this week - 9. |

Bzzzby RemieComment: Amazing photograph! Excellent composition -- and almost impossible to imagine how you would freeze this action. Is it a dead bee sitting on glass? One of the best photographs this week -- great job! 10 (LanSnake) |

Blow me awayby freetimeComment: This photo would be greatly improved if the focus were on the dandelion, instead of the plants in the background. |

Dancing Forksby gray4093Comment: Beautiful photograph -- really amazing capture. Looking forward to reading the details on how you caught this. Color of the sky is also very interesting. One of the best of the week. 10 |

Feeding Time in the Reptile Houseby PatellaComment: I thought of doing a similar shot, but didn't have the live mouse. I was imagining a closer shot of the mouse's face, with a snake approaching in the background. I like how the reptile is implied here, and also how you have positioned the subject (white background works well too). Good job! |
