I really like this picture! It was my only 10 in this challenge....

over-processed: too sharp at the join between the sea and sky. Also horizon not straight

I love the clouds in the water...

VERY cool picture. The colors are bright with lots of contrast and its off center.
How can you get any better?-10

very sharp

Excellllent! Really great photography - artistic. I like how the pool area is calm, yet you can see the waves beyond the land. I love when you can just barely tell which side is up. The only thing (could just be my screen) is that I am detecting some noise in the clouds and the reflections of the clouds - but may be purposeful. Either way - Really wonderful work.

Nice shot - not sure about the crop.
07/18/2002 08:15:00 PM
nice

General composition is nice but the grass suffers a bit from oversaturation and there's some visible ovrsharpening.
07/18/2002 01:36:00 PM
great reflection. i would have cropped differently - the symmetry is broken on the right side.
07/18/2002 12:36:00 PM
Really cool shot. I really like the reflections. It's a bit dark, and the green of the vegitation seems almost too bright green (did you turn up the green?) 8 Swash

Really nice, good contrast in color.

Green is fantastic. Nice reflection, but right part of photo is rather empty, I miss something there.
07/18/2002 04:19:00 AM
I really like the concept on this photo... the detail is quite striking. There is something that puzzles me about the horizon line splitting the center of this photo. It's not really the horizon.. It's where the reflection meets the land... I think the image would be more powerful with a little more cropped off the bottom... = 8 - jmsetzler

poor sky
07/17/2002 02:03:00 PM
so surreal. barely real.
07/17/2002 01:52:00 PM
Smooth water and big waves (I think) Great shot....
07/17/2002 12:38:00 PM
wow 7

Beautiful composiiton. I really like how green is the primary color -- this shot works better for me just like you have it, instead of having the sky show more blue. Very nice -- one of my favorites this week -- 9. (LanSnake)

very dramatic composition, lighting. Good picture!
07/17/2002 04:29:00 AM
more definition in the clouds to make the reflection more effective; burning in clouds maybe? or photoshop with curves and levels?
07/17/2002 01:06:00 AM
contrast is too much
07/16/2002 08:33:00 PM
Nice photograpgh ... Good composition ... It appears to be over "sharpened" though and the green seems almost too green ... 8 ... RLS

Very nice.

Superb reflection--I like this
07/16/2002 08:46:00 AM
Cool idea. I think this would be more effective if you got the reflection to line up with the hill. Not sure how you would do that though. Also I would like to see more of the ocean or none at all. Just a little sliver doesn't work well IMO.

This is beautiful. I love the greens and the reflection in the water. It almost looks like some ancient creature rising up out of the water. I keep coming back to this and looking....I've taken my vote up a little since I first voted. Great job... 9- KDJohnson

excellent shot. what a great idea to use a tidepool to reflect the algae-covered rock. I almost mistook it for a hill. I am really impressed by your ability to make a whole landscape shot out of a couple of square feet.
07/15/2002 04:15:00 PM
looking good!
07/15/2002 01:11:00 PM
that's some really green field... a little too green perhaps.
07/15/2002 09:48:00 AM
I really liked the look of your photo in it's thumbnail, but seeing it full size it seems somewhat over sharpened.
07/15/2002 09:33:00 AM
That's a huge tidepool! Very peaceful photo
07/15/2002 08:53:00 AM
nice...
07/15/2002 06:24:00 AM
Nice, but I feel like it is missing something. 6
07/15/2002 04:39:00 AM
Its technically alright but not the most exciting in the world. Would have enjoyed seeing more color in the sky.
07/15/2002 04:16:00 AM
A nice reflection.
07/15/2002 02:06:00 AM
Great, but looks too digital (pixilated).
07/14/2002 11:08:00 PM
Nice shot, good composition. I like the contrast between the rough ocean and the calm pool. The bright green is a bit distracting but you still have a nice picture here.
