I really like the flowing lines and framing on this one. Very eye pleasing! |

I'd like to see the dog's head not quite filling the frame... not crazy about the exposure either. 4 sjgleah |

the shadow on his nose is too bad |

Gray scale is OK; don't know if it's better than the color in this case. You look like you have one of the mellow ones... |

Nice, clear black and white. Not really thrilled with the shadows and it's a little too closely cropped for my tastes (ears and whiskers). 7 Swash |

the glare combined with lack of color doesn't work for me. |

Great composition. I love how you've positioned the dog's nose in the lower right corner -- with the head running diagonal across the image. Also like this as a black and white very much. One of my favorites this week - 9. |

lighting could have been better - dog's muzzle in dark; diagonal of face is effective |

I like the lighting on this shot. I would have liked the dog's ears and paw to be shown in the photo. |

this is actually a nice pet photo... The contrast is a touch weak for me but the composition is very nice.. the triangulation created by the nose in teh lower corner definitely catches my eye.. good shot! = 7 - jmsetzler |

Love puppies...but I think you could have capture more of his/her personality with a different view. I like the black and white, great focus, and the lighting is pretty neat too. 6 Lisa |

Nice pet portrait. If you have a chance, I think it would be better to photograph him/her on a darker or lighter background so he/she doesn't blend into the carpet so much. Also, though I like the light on the top of the head and how it brings out the texture of the fur, that on the left of the photo is a little distracting. It also feels quite closely cropped...I might try giving him/her a little more room in the frame. |

great portrait of a beauty. I'm guessing this is a standard? Your lighting really shows off the silky coat and strong headshape. Did you use two lights or just the natural? I wish my doxie had a protrait as well-shot! |

Hey...where's the wiener bum? LOL I like the b&W and the contrast, but would like to see eyes...expression. I bet he has lots of expressions... |

Nice shot, good composition, exclent clarity and focus, your choice on the grey scale treatment. |

The b/w really works well here, setting the mood of the shot. Great pic. |

Think it's too tightly cropped in the nose area |
