I think this shot would work _really_ well as a panoramic, with less sky at the top and less dark ground as well. The color range is wonderful here, though. I love your title, too. |

Great job! The only suggestion I would have is to crop it closer to the lightening, so that the viewer doesn't wander around in the picture looking that the red lights, and other such stuff. Nice colors! |

What a hard image to get, and you did just fine. The color of the sky is very good. |

nice sky, but the landscape is a little lacking, |

Excellent composition, I love the texture of the sky and the negative space. The radio towers are a distraction and you may want to clone them out for non-DPChallenge use. Since there is nothing you can do about them here they are not affecting my score. 8-ClubJuggle. |

Wow, this is great! I love the colors in the clouds, very nice. Could you have gotten away with a closer crop? (closer view of the lightning) no loss in the score column. 10 Swash |

excellent catch :) I have been dying to try this myself. In my area, the terrain doesn't lend itself well to this type of shot... good work! = 9 - jmsetzler |

Lightning as the main object should fill bigger area. |

nice shot of lightning; darkness on bottom a bit heavy - cropping slightly more might help |

Nicely done. With some creative cropping you could have several pictures from the same shot. Great job. |

We had a (rare) fantastic lightning storm here last year and I got zero pictures of it. Very nice. Are those "actual" or "enhanced" colors? I don't care as far as voting, but would like to know in general how other folks adjust their images. |

I love lightning - a shot of that alone scores high with me! This is a very cool picture. Great shot. I still have a ways to go with learning my camera in order to start thinking about taking lighting pictures - nice work! Ruthann |

Nicely captured. I've always wanted to try to get a lightning shot. I'll be interested to know how much patience it took to capture this one. |

I love lightening shots and I know how especially hard they are to pull off with a digital camera.
