Quality Timeby esdarbyComment: jaja funny, just loved those little feet under the seat. great idea, it's a pity the background is so busy, perhaps a wider aperture might have helped |

Soonby Shan2112Comment: beautiful idea, great lighting, there seem to be some compression artifacts, and the hands seem unnaturaly desat? strange colors (specially on the right hand). Perhaps a little more space for the elbow to fit would be nice |

Kisses...Mum!!by KitaComment: cute high-key shot, mother's look is deep and strong, the kid is really nice, I would like to see more detail overall in the photo, left hand placement seems a bit uneasy, I would like to see a bit more of the child (who doesn't seem to be looking back at mom's eyes). Good shot overall... oh!!! and the pillow is very very distracting, what about a white or black pillow?, I think the pillow detracts a lot from image quality. |

A Mother A Super Heroby ColeyComment: really funny shot, I will love to read the 'how to'. Perhaps mroe tension on the "mother's" arms would make it more credible |

Breadwinner, mother of five by whiteroomComment: great portrait, doesn't convey the "motherly" feelilng... just a portrait (wonderfuly executed) but not exactly a "mother" shot. I think you should have saved this one for best of 2005 challenge |

A Walk on The Beachby ZorbaTheGeekComment: Great image... I would love a tighter crop (to focus more on the mother and child), and I would love to have more detail in the water, too much blown highlights |

Mother Maryby hannekeComment: I wanted to try something like this (being a catholic) somehow your photo (without the title) doesn't lead me to mother mary, perhaps a little more covered face, less wrinkled hands... more like in a "prayer" attitude than a "posing" attitude, like there should be a deeper feeling, deeper emotion coming from the mother of Christ... you have something against you, we are used to seeing lots of different representations and form each one his own expectations from such a subject. I hope this helps, I am commenting with full respect to the subject, to Mother Mary and to you, I think this is a good photo but is just lacking something. |
