if i didn't know the assignment was backlighting, i would say this is too dark. but even given that, i think it is still too dark. Nice effort though, looks like a good bit of work went into this one.

This lacks something to me. It might be the glass of beer doesn't look nearly as appealing as the bottle. I'm not sure. I like the highlight on the Heine label though.

It seems like there shoulder be a serving platter filled with drinks on the hand. Ha ha. The upturned hand commands most of my attention in this photo. Nice.

The reflections on the bottom portion of the image take away from the a clean feeling photo in my opinion. I like the idea though. Much better than several done this way.

Is this backlighting? By the reflection, it looks as though light sources are above the subject. Any backlighting seems incidental.
