With highlights on the absolute front, this doesn't look backlit to me. |

While I'm sure this is backlit, the frontal lighting overwhelms it. The focus on the red pepepr is also a little soft... 5 |

Too much fore-lighting cancels out whatever backlighting you were using. This looks like a regular studio still-life to me. |

Is this backlighting? By the reflection, it looks as though light sources are above the subject. Any backlighting seems incidental. |
