This is a great image. Although it is for the backlight challenge, a bit more light on the center of the flower - just enough to keep it from shifting to black - would have enhanced it. But, I probably don't know what I'm talking about -- after all, it did place 12th. :D Congrats.

Congratulations on your 14th placing. This image invites the eye back a second time.

Excellent - just excellent backlit flowers. Lighting and exposure was difficult - yet you've pulled it off. The very formal composition works for me - but some will complain. Now - if we just counted the same way, it would be perfect!

The first time I went through these 369 images, I knew this one would be in one of my top ten - just not sure where. The composition and the contrasts are really great. Very eye catching. Probably the only problem I have when viewing it is that after a while there appears to be a "double exposure" effect to the left between the bottom flower and the front center one. I know there isn't, but my eyes stumble over that portion of the image. As a result it has a little bit a a disquieting effect and I ended up rating it not quite as high as I would have. But, it's a very nice image. Congratulations.

You put the backlight to very good use here. A very nice capture that is both delightful and beautiful.

The reflections on the bottom portion of the image take away from the a clean feeling photo in my opinion. I like the idea though. Much better than several done this way.

Very good choice of flower; I really like the glowing effect. A well deserved (9).

Needs a little spot editing after the challenge, but this shot came out beautifully. I like the lighting and the simplicity. Very nice job.

Beautiful. Asymmetry may have made it more interesting.
