Clasic American Muscleby illit-AfflictionComment: I get the theme, it meets the challenge but this comes across as a simple snapshot. If I had to shoot this subject I might have zoomed in very close on one part of the engine as a macro shot and really picked up on the textures. |

The Strength of Photographyby Zap228Comment: Entire image is out of focus. I'm assuming that is a film container holding up the bookcase based on the title. It's not really obvious what it is and many might miss it altogether. There are to many items in the bookcase which adds to the clutter. Lighting could also be more dramatic. Keep at it. |

Wheelsby breckinshireComment: I can't make the connection to strength. 2 of the main subjects are cropped off on their edges. The entire image appears to be slightly out of focus. Distractions in the upper left and lower right hand corners. |

Strength is in the Cardsby rudacbComment: Very nice. If the lighting was a bit more uniform on the cards and you could have figured out a way to lose the reflections on the glass, it would have been magnificent. |

Stronger than Steelby GordonComment: This is my pick for Blue Ribbon. My only suggestion is, keep doing whatever you're doing. |

The Strength of Steelby JeanComment: Amazing photo. Great POV, DOF and composition. Did you use an AV filter on this shot? If not, it might have helped reduce the hazing effect towards the top of the tower. Fantastic job. |

Strugglingby asijComment: This shot is great as is but it a UV filter would have helped to reduce the haze and increase the color saturation in the distance. Good job. |
