What's this? a film roll case? that was before digital advent, isn't it? :)
Anyhow, the pic's out of focus. |

Overall a very poor photograph, your focus is not very good and the lighting is awful.
Is this a deliberate attempt for the brown ribbon !! |

Needs sharper focus and better lighting. Subject is not clear. |

Be a lot stronger if it was in focus. Even then, not sure what you're going for here. |

Suggestion: Photography is stronger when a tripod is involved. Good concept though! |

This is a good idea, but the photo needs to be more crisp, and maybe it should be taken at an angle, for a little more interest. |

A little fuzzy. I think the lighting was really hampering you on this. |

Far too blurry and not a particularly strong photograph, thereby negating the message in your title. you might want to consider investing in a tripod, or failing that, drag over a chair for your camera to sit on. A steady surface and a picture taken using the timer will do wonders for the final image. |

An unfocused strength? Title tells all, not the picture. |

out of focus...and not very interesting...and a reach at the subject |

Sorry, but I don't see strength here at all. The photo itself is very busy with no apparent focal point. |

Um... it honestly doesn't strike me as being "photographically strong" at all, I'm afraid. It's out of focus, and has no clear subject matter... and I can't quite figure out how it relates to the challenge. Sorry... |

I am not at all sure what the meaning is here. In any event the focus is way off and much seems to be hidden in the shadows. |

Out of focus, no real focal point, unlevel...I'm confused...especially with the title. |

"The strength of photgraphy?" Too much of a stretch...plus, the focus issue... |

Entire image is out of focus. I'm assuming that is a film container holding up the bookcase based on the title. It's not really obvious what it is and many might miss it altogether. There are to many items in the bookcase which adds to the clutter. Lighting could also be more dramatic. Keep at it. |

Image seems too blurred to me, but maybe that was your intention. Just a beginners view |

You should practice your white balance and focus. |

The title doesn't quite fit the photo. If it did, the lighting and focus on this would be much more solid. |

I cannot see where this image is sharp, I'm guessing it should be on the camera box but it is not. |

out of focus, not on the horizon, and totally confused / random image. |

the power of focus would be a handy power. |

|

focus is wrong here, but more than that, you should follow the rule of thirds, try not to take pictures straight on. it is too centered. |
|
|
04/14/2004 05:37:22 AM |
Out of focus, no real connection to the challenge subject. |

I don't think an underexposed, blurry image of a bookcase filled with random stuff symbolises "strength", I'm afraid. (1) |
