Krissieby vtruanComment: With an excellent model like this why did you stick her in front of an out of focus painting of someone else? Or was this intentional - is this her in the background? But having to ask that question negates the harmony and beauty of the model's pose. A 7 when it might have been an 8 or 9. |

Basic Portrait of a Coupleby JB707Comment: A competent and stylish portrait. I find myself drawn more to the man, however who seems toc ommand a greater presence. it's not because he is taller - I think it is because of her glasses and a sense that her face is not quite so well focussed as his? Portraits of couples are tricky as they risk this competition betwen the subjects. When both face the camera, they should arguably be equal. Dark glasses make her more of an ambivalent model. |

The Station Masterby trainComment: Do they still make them like this? :)) A lovely prortrait in the classical style. An evocative and meaningful portrayal of a man who has lived his profession. Very nice work. 9 |

My Cameliaby mariomelComment: A sensitive portrait which captures the innocence and beauty of a young child. My only minor criticism is the choice of background where the checked pattern jars slightly - but that's maybe just me. Well done! 9 |

portre ressami by kiwinessComment: A striking protrait with vivid colours and beautifully framed. Hits all the right buttons - the attention is drawn with no doubt at all to the person who appears to live in the photo. Well done. 10 |

snackby unikornComment: This is an amusing shot which I hope does well as it shows a wacky imagination and imaginative take on the challenge. Technically I'd rather not see the plate edges on left or see them all (from top right this doesn't seem to be a regular circular plate?) The loighting could have been improved on the apple too. There is one bright highlight and the rest is rather underexposed. |

Come back Daddy...by perkygothComment: Well composed but the title reveals what is happenign off screen which reduces the effectiveness of the idea which is to be oleft with anticipation of something happening that one is uncertain of. the shot could have been improved in this regard by the use of a shallow DOF with the road and background out of focus. That would have left me with a sense of anticipation and wonder. |

Trouser snakeby NatatorComment: Beautifully composed and wondeful lighting, textures and DOF. Also - a good interpretation of the challenge. |

What the ?????by boomerComment: Nicely composed with the focus on the foreground person. Evokes a realistic sense of somethign happenign of screen. |
