Looks like only the digit is in focus. Otherwise - very good.

Great picture - very evocative. However, it doesn't really make one wonder what is beyond what we can see. |

nice photo...color is good, focus is crisp...maybe cropping the car out in the distance would have gotten better score from me anyway...however I do like this shot |

He´s on-screen, isnt he? All the same its a fine image. Focus, DOF and colors very good and seems well croped |

nice pic. i see no expectation or implied off-frame action. |

Well composed but the title reveals what is happenign off screen which reduces the effectiveness of the idea which is to be oleft with anticipation of something happening that one is uncertain of. the shot could have been improved in this regard by the use of a shallow DOF with the road and background out of focus. That would have left me with a sense of anticipation and wonder. |

Wait for the car to leave the frame and call it "waiting for Daddy" the it's on topic. I LOVE the idea though. |

Good idea. I really like the composition of this picture the way that the triangle that the kid forms leads straight into the ball. That leaves the rest of the frame which again is a triangle. The lines of these shapes also create a dynamic which is reinforced by the off centre composition -- very effective.
My biggest gripe with this picture is the artefacts that you can see on the boys skin, if you look closely you will see quite a few of them. I am not sure if these are JPEG artefacts or if you Neatimaged the picture, I would have thought however that they are probably JPEG artefacts.
I would probably also prefer to have seen the car a little bit closer, but then again so what it's still a good picture. |

2 seconds later and you'd have a shot -- the car wouldn't be there. In this photo, I see what he is looking at -- there is nothing "off-screen" about the shot. |
