Black & Whiteby tyt2000Comment: Wow fanastic face shot. I love the close up and how well you focused on the eyes. Black and white fits perfectly here. |

Normal People; Insane Peopleby alanfreedComment: There is too much going on. The naked cowboy does draw interest, and I like how the little boy's head is turned away. Probably his parents told him not to look! LOL |

The Optimist and the Pessimistby L1Comment: The colors are a bit dull. Needs to be in true b&w or have some splash of color, maybe instead of water you could have used something colorful? |

To Bloom.. or Notby amylynComment: I like how you composed the blooming tree as the main focus and the smaller trees in the background. The curve of the road adds interest. Beautiful image! |

Black and White Apples and Orangesby ShakeyComment: First off, it was a good idea using the black as the base. I like how it dampens the reflections a bit so more focus is on the actual fruit. I like how you put the pieces of the apple and orange together. The leftover orange is too far away from the rest. It's almost like an afterthought. The other apple is too close in line with the nailed together fruit. (Is this making any sense?? LOL) Maybe sitting the half apple/half orange together, where one is just barely leaning against the other would have brought it all together in the center of the composition. On the other hand, there is just enough white background to balance. Overall, I think it's a strong shot. |

A Matter of Life and Deathby LycanMoonComment: Very nice take on the challenge. I like the symbolism of the flowers on the grave. The contrast and saturation in the grass is terrific. Nice composition, the person in the center is balanced out by the weight of the stones on the left. Great job! |

Rust never sleeps. (now we know why)by BradComment: OK adding the coffee beans was a great touch, gave it some wonderful texture. The composition and the angle of the tool are very nice. I don't see much rust in the photo though? |

Garden rustby stickylizardComment: The leaf was not needed. I think it would have been much better without it. I like the texture of the rust against the wood. |
