I like your full-face composition -- it adds the drama to your shot. One of my ribbon picks. |

absolutely stunning. very crisp and clear. great detail. only thing that might improve this is if the frame included the top of his "mane" and ears. |

This is a wonderful picture but without the title, I don't see it meeting the challenge. I mean, I don't think B&W the moment I see it. I think TIGER. Or Blue Eyes. That said, it does meet the challenge I guess, given the title. The picture itself is terrific. I just can't see a magazine editor choosing it to illustrate OPPOSITES. I like the DOF |

Beautiful tiger. I might've tried to crop out the green in the corner, but I don' t know if that would have been possible to keep the dimensions you wanted. 7. |

should have converted this to gray scale to eliminate all forms of color in the tigers face |

Odd that it never even occurred to me that someone might take a picture of a tiger like this... but I really do like the picture, I think the way you cropped it makes the contrast stronger, and I like the border. Nice job! |

Wow I hope you used a zoom for this shot! This is great. The only thing I would change is the border. I don't think it adds much to the shot. Mabye if the border was just white it would add a lot more - 7 |

That is very cool. Full frame and centering work here very well. Lighting is adequate ... it would have been nice if the eyes were highlighted more but you have to get what you have to get ... you're only given one chance in cases like this. Very nice capture! |
