What incredible comments! By surprising people, also!

I really liked this shot -- and I liked it in color, as well



I loved what happened with the bokeh. The textures just fascinated me. I thought that it fit in with Ben's texture shots, but after I entered it, I was wondering whether it really fit. I've been smiling at the comments all week. Never expected it to hit with the crowd with which it hit! :)

I considered anything over 6 to be a great success in this challenge -- how exciting to be at 6.1! Thanks, everyone. :)

I had fun playing around with some funky shots (well, funky for me), but I didn't think they fit the challenge:



This one fit a little more, but I liked the entry shot better.

This is wildly intense and unique. Forget the creature, it is secondary to the palpable textures, and captivating DOF. Oh, and the creature, dots the i. Well done. 9
