A nice use of the challenge technique, but the picture seems too unbalanced. I feel like the ship (the focus) is not immediately obvious because of the placement of the shore and buildings, taking the top edge down about 3/4 of an inch would help frame the ship better.

Nice work, putting the ship this far forward in the composition focusses attention on the rear end. Just having the flag in color enhances that. I like the square framing.

nice composition but i would edit out the bouy/ beacon.
