Critique Club:

A very competent shot, nicely exposed. The centred composition works very well. A good candidate for selective desaturation, and it has been carried out well. Border complements the photo well. I like the diagonal composition, and black and white really complements the texture of the can.
However, your choice of subject doesn't really hit me with a 'wow'... rather a solid, well taken photo that makes me respect the technique used.

Nice sharp focus and great contrast with excellent exposure! I would've aligned the tab at 45° myself, good decision. Also, I like how the edges of the can are cropped out, though some may not. 8 for you.

Certainly a nice enough picture - great razor sharp focus. However, you have a green pull top and the rest is normally a greyscalled metal. What every you desaturated isn't recognizable.

gotta ask really, did you do any post photo taking edittting, or are all the colours natural? if that is straight out the camera, then i think it's great. if it's editting, i think it's even greater because the sharpness of the edge of colour, and the shades of the green is terrifically well done. great take on the challenge. 9.

This is nice - I hate to say it because I am usually a border basher but it might look nice with that thin border line in green.

Very simple. Ilike it a lot. One thing about it that's great, it is looks naturally desaturated. I'm not sure if it is or not, but it looks like if I were to buy a can like that, you've presented it exactly how I'd see it. 8.

Nice choice, however, without knowing the challenge theme, this picture could easily be considered full color. It isn't "obvious" parts were greyscaled.
