| Not a great choice of picture to use - some of the hues in the yellow and red look to be missing from the desaturation process when the green was removed. Rated 6. |

| nice use of the challenge. the only thing i would recommend is to increase the contrast just a tad. |

| Very nice work on the desaturation. I think if the entire passenger car was left in color it would have helped create more of a concrete "subject" in this photo. Great work regardless.... 7 |

| This shot has some excellent potential...I like the lines and curves, and the yellow really pops. There does seem to be a bit of a haze. Maybe a stronger contrast adjustment could help. Another DPCer also recently told me of a way to use USM to reduce haze...that would be effective as well. The three light-colored poles in the foreground try to compete for attention from my eyes...maybe clone them out or a higher crop? Some might be put off by the centered composition but I think it works just fine for this shot. Very nice capture. :o) |

consider doing an alternate version where you desaturate the cars on the track too.
