| Most are kind I guess but your abstraction is only the object not the picture. Its bland the lighting sucks no dark alluring complexity to your image sorry the lighting is a killer, your visual prospect is inevitable obscuring to the effect of the entire image as well sorry. |

| Wonderful separation of the subject from the background. I would have preferred a DOF just large enough to include the entire subject. |

| interesting object. I like it. I think that the dof is perfect here and I like the background very much. was the item placed on a sheet of glass? very nice color and I like the orange/brown on blue. The angle and placement of the object within the frame is great, and overall a very nice image. congrats. |

| DOF is a bit short for my tastes, it fall off very quickly on each end.. |

| The detail of the subject matter (whatever it is) is very good - but i can't help but feel that it's been let down by the floating appearance and the blandness of the background. Emotions aren't being stirred. However, in a technical sense, it looks great! |

| Carved wood? I like the shape and the color, and I like the blue background, but not together. It does, however, meet the challenge. |
