This is one of my personal top three images for this challenge. The profiles of the runners are captured perfectly and this image nicely conveys to the viewer that it takes intensity to achieve success. Perhaps there is a dose of sentimentality for me in it. I competed in track and cross country for many years and vividly remember training.

Good panning stop motion; I think it might have been a bit better with 1) a slower shutter speed so there was more pan, and 2) a better vantage point without the bleachers in the background, if possible.

I surmise this is full frame? A pity becuase the trailing foot of the girl in black is just cut off. 5

a bit too late, the moment of handing over the baton would have been perfect

good capture of the handoff. the blurring is well done here and the yellow bits (including the background and the lines) are nice.

Would have liked to see the actual handoff.

Good panning... This shot feels slightly cramped on the left and right... I believe that some more open space on the right would create 'running' room for the subjects. = 5

Good pan - a fraction earlier would maybe have shown what looks like a relay exchange as it happened and made for a stronger shot ?

Great motion blur, well panned. Shame the background is too distracting though, especially the horizontal bar 1/3 way down the frame.
