 Taken in Orlando at Lake Eola. Flash was used because of low light and I wanted to catch the wings up. Used Photoshop to crop, balance, sharpen and contrast. Used color selection tool to brighten the water and removed some white spots from the black with the clone tool.

the pose of the swan you capture is quite nice and I like the pattern of the wake in the water as well as the reflection and the dark and light contrast as well. I think I would like this more if swan did not look so centered horizontally in this...the vertical place is quite nice.

One of the best bird shots in the flock. I'd flip the photo so the swan leads the reader into the magazine rather than back toward the spine (a minor point).

lovely captured moment, well focused and the exposure / lighting is lovely. I think with title and features text this would make a lovely cover for your chosen magazine (is it AudUbon)

Nice capture! The little specs in the background are distracting, although I realize its part of the water. I like the contrast from the white to black.
