Audacious and dark. And I really like it! Still it would be better with just very little more light. |

this reminds me of a style of the 30's and again in the 50's of some of the Jazz greats...very powerful and well executed |

I like this very much, I would prefer to see more of the face in the frame because the hand takes my eye away |

I finally figured out why I like this shot so much. You have captured, very simply, the two visible things that define a man. Ya got his eyes, and ya got his hands. I keep getting drawn between the two points. Very nice. I just hope everyone has their monitors calibrated properly otherwise you might get some 'too dark' comments...

Great composition with the hand and face both in focus and coming at the viewer at the same angle. Nice shot. - 8 |

The hand makes the shot. Good job. |

I like this pose showing the hand and the rich blackness of the scene. Something, however, doesn't appear to be right on the uppper left. It appears as if he is hanging by his shoulder. Does the shirt or hood go above his ear? BOL |

I love how the hands have a part to play in this portrait - this one has a lot of personality. I really like it. good luck! |

I like this pose....The POV is unique. I would of liked just a bit more lighting, but this is a good entry. |

I really like your composition here. The hand in the front with the angled face further back - it's unusual and quirky and works very well. I also like the low-key nature of this image, black on black on black. It's a beautiful portrait of the individual and a great image. |

love the forced perspective and the overall dark tone of this image, it really makes the eyes pop, and leads you right to the face. |

This is a great demonstration of the use of low key to produce an effective portrait - good compositional balance too. |
