 I was trying to come up with an idea that didn't have to do with having a subject in the picture. Like what kind of nature shot could you do with this?
So I came up with another pet picture. But I would like to think this one is a little different. I hope people notice that the only color is the light cyan in her eyes. I thought the compostion is somewhat original. The only thing that I'd like to have done better was the background. It is distracting but I wasn't able to fix it w/o selection in Photoshop. Oh well, next time.

Very nice picture. One really does wonder what this cat is looking at. It might have been just as effective in color since the cat looks to be a Russian Blue which is grey anyway and it would have been nice just to have the color in the eyes.

i just really dont get the impression that this shot is implying something exciting, frightening, REALLY COOL, yummy, tempting, or otherwise compelling somewhere past the edge of the image

Nothing says 'attention' like a cat's stare. Nice capture. I can't help wanting to see (more) color in the eyes. Did you desaturate or is that the way they look?

right side of cat's face is blurry. Bigger aperature would help a lot.
