Some bushes in our parking lot. The sun was shining through the petals so prettily.

Unfortunately, as soon as something blooms here, the plant butchers who come on Wednesdays, chop everything off to a nubbin. So this was an exciting find.

Bougainvillea, right? The light streaming through really makes this.

Just goes to show that location isn't necessarily everything. Talk about elevating the everyday! This is really fantastic. The light and the colors couldn't be better.

I am envious, you have color in your landscape. Everything here is brown and dormant. Can't wait till spring. Nice colors and the sun rays are cool.

This is sweet. A cutting from this stuff will grow indoors if you put it in the window so that it gets sun light. They are beautiful but can be a big problem if they get out of hand and grow all over.
I also like the light and the flare in this shot. It looks like your lens may have had a little fog on it the way it has the overall softness. I like it.

The lens flare in this gives it a really unusual and interesting look.

in Florida at my parents' "Senior Citizens Camp", they put out signs saying NO Mow...maybe you should do that?? LOL
i like the sunglare through the center of the bougainvilla bouquet, like a lighting ribboon, or perhaps a spray of water to the plants..pretty pinks too

(oh btw, the coat factory is not here in VT, nor snow either-YET!)

Ahh so sad about the friggin plant butchers. You were fortunate to capture this before they got the axe. This sweet image is so pretty and refreshing!! I loved the colorful thumbnail right off the bat!

LoL about your snow joke and I KNOW what you mean, but I'm back to torture you all with more snow!!
