 My first portrait of my dad. lots of dodging and burning to bring out detail. He doesnt actually look that old. I swear dad! you don't!!! :D

ok this shot is really cool but when i look at the black and white version i keep thinking how cool it would be if he had a serious expression and a cigar in his mouth (even if he doesnt smoke it could be faked) still i really like the shot as is

This is a wonderful potrait of your dad. This shows perfectly why b&w portraits are much better that colour ones. imho! Great shot!

I saw this pic first when Aimee was going through and voting. It grabbed me right there and I knew I was gonn agive this a ten. It was the 4th to last image for me to vote on and I am sorry now that I didnt fave it then. Not sure what I was thinking. I guess I had planned on coming back to bump and comment and didnt get around to it. Excellent picture. Great detail and deadon editing. Congrats on top 20!

Looks like a great guy and a character, but I think the photo would be much more effective without the bugeyes. Great use of BW, great job capturing exceptional detail on his face. Good job with the composition/crop too.

This is great; it really stuck out at me as I was browsing. It makes me want to meet him. I love the minute detail! The image is so sincere and yet funny at the same time, I love it. Can't wait to check out more of your work!

wow ... love the detail in his skin and beard ... personally I think that there are too many catch lights in his eyes .. but overall very well done ...l

the sharpening really messes with his whiskers, but the expression is priceless enough to overlook that minor detail. well done :)

Beautiful and sharp - I am sure you will get comments about the catch light in his eyes which are a little distracting. Great exposure.
