This was fun to do but a bit of a hit 'n miss affair

Set up was a small light pointing directly at the camera with a polarising filter in front of it, then a layer of theatrical frost, the ruler in front of that and finally the camera looking back also with a polariser on it.

I tried diffrent plastics and just couldn't predict which plastics would work and which wouldnt. Even the shots which looked good on the camera's screen looked rubbish on the PC and two throwaway shots that I didn't think worked eneded up being the two contenders for the submission. This being one of them.

Up against Dust Devil in this round of the MS Charity Tournament so had to come up with something decent.

Post Processing

All Adjustment levels, Hue/Sat boost, Curves tweak, Brightness/Contrast tweak....Sharpen, resize, sharpen, neat image.

Nice polarisation shot!

It looks so crispy and black edged that it almost becomes a graphic art image!

Very interesting saturated colour

Hope you do well
