Awesome tribute! i love the value in this photo. also the movement within the river was captured really sharp. you can almost feel the water when you look at it.

The tributes to Ansel Adams are all pretty good, and this one is also very good..... I love the fluid velvet running water, in contrast with the white snow, and the rocks and tree branches add perfect interest.....

Good contrast. Fits my Adams concept. I don't think of color when I see this and a lot of his work would have had color.

The smoothness of the water and the contrast you caught in the snow is very good. I do tend to equate Adams' work with larger venues, though.
