 This one was kinda fun to shoot. I just placed my dog in the bathtub and started shooting. I found that saying the word "Treat" made his ears tweak and focused his attention on the camera. I think at this point he was wondering what was taking so long. His name in Indy, but I should have named him Gizmo.

What inspired this photo? Well, being from Louisiana, there was an artist named Rodrigue, who had a blue dog in every painting posed this way.

Greetings from the Critique Club

I must admit as this photo open up onto my monitor I started giggling and said I like this one.

I like the angle this was done at and the dogs expression just makes you want to laugh.

As much as I like it I got to admit there is one issue here that hurts the overall presentation. Those spots of harsh lighting that have created that almost xray kind of effect on the right side and on the left top corner those take away from the overall cutenss of the photo.

I do think you meet the challenge with this and I'm still giggling with each look. The pose, the dog its just too cute.

Hey you know you could always have Indy in every photo just like Rodrigue had the blue dog.

this is soo cUTE!!! this could be on stationary! i love it. it's kind of creepy though that the eyes seem pitch black. but it's a good kind of creepy. awesome job!

This is a beautiful spot on portrait, but I think his/ her coat color is too dark to really meet the challenge. I love the clarity of the eyes and the facial detail. It's a great perspective and crop, but the fur color is pretty vivid. Still an excellent shot!!

Gizmo is a doll, and you captured a neat shot. Good lighting, highlights and fun positioning. Nice job.

love the dog, too much darkness on "white" background in upper left corner, directly behind the middle of the dogs head and on right side, also IMO the color of the dog is not a "light" color, but I love the look and the capture so will give it a mid range anyway
