Beautiful red pansy! IMO, the image would be much improved if it were larger, and if you could move away some of the leaves in particular to the left hand side - maybe get a bit closer to the flower (I don't know if you can with your camera, so excuse my comments if you can't).

Nice shot, love the contrast between the red flower and green background. The big leaves on the left and the smaller flower on the right are a bit distracting, though. The picture itself is a bit too small to see the details, and that's a bit pity. Regards, Marco

It's only very barely off-center, making it look accidental. A graphic design book I recently read had some useful things that I keep in mind for photography, too, among them, "If you're going to be the same, be *the same*. And if you're going to be different, be *really different*." Something that's on the 'almost' line between feels strange, whereas a strong push one way or the other would feel bolder, more finished.

Well, it's a bit on the small side to make a good judgement. Please try to submit bigger images -- you'll do much better just for that reason! It looks like you used the flash here, too, which is making for some unusually shiny features in the plants, too.

This looks like a nice shot, but its just too small to see!

Small, and busy. Nothing really captures my interest about this shot, and the flower seems more accidentally off-centered than purposefully composed.
