 Lipstick holder filled with colored water. Lit with the shoemount flash diffused off of white cardboard from behind. Hue adjustments and noise reduction used to get final version.

A truly ambitious concept, executed fairly well ... but I rated this 9 instead of 10 because the sheer muddle of all the vertical bars of color is mildly vertigo-inducing. Maybe a few more-defined stripes instead of so many tiny blades of colored grass (as it were) would have peaked at 'perfect' for me. Or maybe not. Good shot, though!

The colors in this are simply wonderful, and the composition is great too. It almost looks like a mad little man in the orange part in front center.

Wow! What a striking mix of colours - I love the way in which each colour appears in such random segments. I think the shapes are secondary to the colour here. This works well as an abstract. Because of the way that the shapes are overwhelmed by the colour I think composition is quite hard to appreciate.

Wow this looks kind of psychedelic. Very abstract and lively for sure. Although this really isn't my cup of tea, there is something about it that is quite appealing, but I just can't put my finger on what it is - 9.

This is a very excellent photo, unfortunately, it hurts my eyes a good deal to look at it. I think it would be best printed either very large, or very small (like the thumbnail). I would like to know what the lighting is from and what the subject is. 7
